Have you ever come home tired from a very long day at work and still had to cook dinner for your family? I know I have and it is not fun!
I am not one to spend unaccountable amount of hours whipping up an overly amazing meal in the kitchen. That I only do on special occasions or during the holidays. Even then, I’m looking for ways to simplify and minimize the time I spend in the kitchen.
I love quick and easy meals, and pizza is just one of my favorite foods to eat. Whenever I need to make a quick meal, I usually make pizza. Here is my favorite variation up to date. I warn you though. It is highly addictive.
- 1 roll Pillsbury pizza crust
- 1/2 cup Ragu pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese
- 1-2 pieces pre-cooked chicken cutlet
- 5 slices deli ham
- 1/2 cup canned corn
- 1 plum tomato
Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. Spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray and spread pizza dough over the cookie sheet. Place in the oven for five minutes. Then, take the pizza dough out of the oven and spread pizza sauce over it evenly. Cut chicken, ham and tomato into small pieces. Then, assemble the pizza with chicken, ham, tomato, corn, mozzarella and mild cheddar cheese. Place the pizza back in the oven for 10-12 minutes or until crust is golden brown and cheese has melted.
