Easter Sunday, such a happy day. However, our Easter was not so happy.
Well I have to admit that Easter caught me completely unprepared. It seemed that I was truly expecting the Easter bunny to come with bags full of candy and Easter eggs. It never did.
Instead, I had to run to the only store open that day and struggle to find some color eggs to fill with chocolate candy. Mr. C hid them in the backyard and all of the sudden we had an egg hunt. I also got some nice bunny ear hats which the kids could decorate on their own. Princess A really loved that.
Our late Easter fun was cut short though because JJ was not feeling well. All of the sudden, he laid on the sofa, said he was tired and that was it.
So, the perfect Easter egg hunt, for which I spent two hours struggling to find eggs and candy, turned into a three minutes egg hunt. Princess A decorated bunny ear hats that were never worn. And almost all the candy was eaten by mommy and daddy, mostly daddy (clears throat).
Today, we got up early and took JJ to the doctor. Nothing serious thank God.
Moral of the story: Be prepared for the unprepared.

El domingo de Pascuas, un dia féliz. Sin embargo, mi domingo de Pascuas no fue tan féliz.
Bueno tengo que admitir que este dia me todo por sorpresa y nada preparada. Al parecer, yo verdaderamente esperaba que el conejito de Pascuas viniera con bolsas llenas de dulces y huevos de colores, pero nunca llego.
Tube que irme a ultima hora a la única tienda habierta ese dia y comprar huevos de colores para rellenar con dulces de chocolate. El señor C los escondio en el patio y asi de repente ya teniamos una búsqueda de huevos de Pascuas preparada. Tambien encontre unas gorritas de orejas de conejitos la cual los niños podian decorar ellos mismos. A princesa A le encanto.
Desafortunadamente todo nuestro esfuerzo tardío fue interumpido porque JJ no se sentia muy bien. De repente se acosto en el mueble, dijo que estaba cansado y ya, ahi acabó todo.
Al final, nuestra perfecta búsqueda de huevos de Pascua solo tardo tres minutos. Pricessa A decoró gorritas de orejas de conejitos que nunca fueron usadas. Y la gran mayoria de los dulces fueron consumidos por mami y papi, mayormente papi (toz finjida).
Hoy nos levantamos temprano a llevar a JJ al doctor. Gracias a Dios no tenia nada serio.
Moraleja: Hay que estar siempre preparado para lo inesperado.

Yes, she looked beautiful. JJ was dressed nice too but couldn’t get nice pics of him at all. LOL
