Tropical Sunrise Smoothie ~ A protein packed and refreshing smoothie filled with vitamins, probiotics, and lots of tropical tasting flavors!

Tropical Sunrise Smoothie ~ A protein packed and refreshing smoothie filled with vitamins, probiotics, and lots of tropical tasting flavors!

I have been struggling with weight gain and unhealthy habits for the past year. Since I started my 9 to 5, I have adapted a sedentary lifestyle with minimal to no exercise. Carving out time to workout after a busy day at work is a real struggle for me. In all honestly, when I get home after a long commute home all I want to do is make dinner and relax.

We all know why exercise is good and necessary for the body. But, we often forget that maintaining healthy eating habits is just as important. This is something that is hard to do when you are always on-the-go, struggling to get a decent meal on the table or having breakfast on the train.

Because I barely have time to exercise, I try very hard to make good eating choices. Making healthy smoothies for breakfast helps me with that.

This tropical sunrise smoothie is one of my favorites. My husband’s as well. He said, and I will quote him here, “this is better than Jamba Juice.” Now, I have never had Jamba Juice, but I have heard lots of people rave about their smoothies. Maybe I should try it one day only so that I can have a way of comparison. Anyhow, if you have ever had a smoothie from Jamba Juice, just know that according to my husband, this one is better. 🙂

What I love about this smoothie, though, is that it tastes like summer. Made with mango, banana, fresh orange juice, almond milk and maple syrup, it has just the right balance of sweet and all the flavors from the tropics. I added a serving of vanilla flavor Kura Protein Powder for an extra boost of protein and vitamins. The combination was magical.

Now, let me tell you something my friends. I’ve had quite a few protein powders in my life and Kura is by far my new favorite. Not just because it tastes absolutely fantastic, but because it is a clean protein smoothie powder full of 4B probiotics, 26 vitamins and minerals, omega 3s, antioxidants and more, to boost your health journey. The protein powder comes in three delicious, equaly amazing flavors: berry, chocolate and vanilla.

Every morning now, I make sure to leave the house with my healthy smoothie made with Kura in hand, ready to take on the day knowing that I made a good eating choice. The only thing left, is making sure I find a good way to add some exercise to my daily routine.
