These past weeks have been completely crazy. Hectic to say the least. With the kids leaving school for the summer, the job, the vast number of summer activities to attend, managing the home, trying to create content for the blog and dealing with the hosting server going down, my days in the past two weeks have been a complete nightmare.
I have literally been losing countless hours of sleep trying to deal with everything. And let me tell you, working full time and getting home to care for two of the most energetic beings to ever walk this Earth on merely two hours of sleep is absolutely the most draining thing in life. I mean, I had to play basketball with my son for goodness’ sake. Don’t get me wrong. I truly enjoyed that moment. It reminded me of my youth days when I used to play with my cousins on the court the boys from my neighborhood had built on our street. Hearing my son say “Wow mom! You can play,” was definitely the highlight of my week. I am slowly, but surely earning my cool mom tittle.
But it was exhausting! I must admit that I was drained, completely tired, out of breath, dying for some sleep and wishing I did not have to wake up extra early the next morning to rush getting ready for work and prepare breakfast before running to the train station. I don’t know about you, but there are days in which I really wish I didn’t have to get out of bed let alone prepare breakfast.
Well, this past week, we were lucky enough to try Honey Bunches of Oats Breakfast Biscuits and it was almost like a miracle.
The Honey Bunches of Oats Breakfast Biscuits are delicious and made with 100% whole grain. Each individual package of four crunchy biscuits provides more than 55 percent of your day’s whole grain, 4 grams of fiber and 5 grams of protein. How’s that for a healthy breakfast?
Their individual package is perfect for busy families on-the-go, and there is a flavor for everyone.
My daughter loves the chocolate chip flavor, while my son ate a whole box of the honey roasted biscuits. I did not get to try those. I wasn’t too upset though because I was able to really enjoy the strawberry biscuits. I must say, I could eat them everyday of the week.
The best of all is that having these biscuits on had allowed me for extra time to catch on some much needed rest. As a result, I was able to accomplish more on my awake hours and even take the kids to an awesome trip to the New York City Natural History Museum this past weekend. My daughter was very eager to meet Rexy and Dum-Dum. We had a blast.
For those of you who have not tried the biscuits, please do. They are really delicious. And if you are in NYC, visit the museum. It is absolutely amazing!
