Chai Rice Pudding
Rich, creamy and sweet Chai Rice Pudding infused with Oregon Chai Tea Latte Concentrate.
- ½ cup rice
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3 cups water
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¾ cup Oregon Chai Tea Latte Concentrate
- ¾ cup evaporated milk
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- ¼ cup raisins
- sliced almonds for garnish (optional)
Place the rice, cinnamon stick, salt and water in a large pot over medium heat. Let it simmer until rice is tender, about 20 minutes. Stir occasionally to avoid sticking.
Add the Oregon Chai Tea Latte Concentrate, milk, sugar and butter. Stir to combine. Once it comes to a boil, add the raisins.
Let simmer until it reaches a pudding-like consistency. Turn off the heat and cover to let cool down before serving.
