Cherry Simple Syrup
The perfect sweet syrup with natural cherry flavor.
Servings: 8 servings
- 2 cups cherries , pitted and sliced in half
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 cups water
In a medium pot, heat the cherries, sugar and water over medium-high heat.
Reduce heat when it starts to boil. Let simmer for about 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool for about 10 minutes.
Transfer to a blender and mix for about 30 seconds.
Pass the liquid through a strainer and store in the refrigerator in a sealed container.
