  • ½ cup tequila

  • lime wedges, for garnish

Instructions

  • Run a lime wedge around the rim of the glass and dip it in the salt. Keep glasses in the fridge until ready to serve.
  • Shake the grapefruit juice, lime juice, agave, orange liquor, tequila and ice in a cocktail shaker for about 1-2 minutes, or until cold.
  • Pour mixture into cold glasses. Add some extra ice cubes, if desired.
  • Place a grapefruit or lime wedge (or both) on the rim of each glass to garnish.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

  • If you want to add a spicy kick to this cocktail, try adding a bit of jalapeño to the mix.
  • You can also make a classic margarita by simply using lime juice instead of adding grapefruit juice as well.
